My Approach

In my practice, I draw from a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches based on my professional assessment, the issues you present, and your unique concerns. This means that your therapy will be tailored to the specific needs of your relationship.

About me

Seeking support with communication, trust, or intimacy, I am here to guide you on your journey. Together, we will build on your strengths and address your challenges.

Relationship therapy differs from individual therapy and requires specialised training. I use an integrative, evidence-based approach, drawing heavily from attachment theory and systems theory, as well as tools from the Gottman Method, and Emotionally Focused Therapy.

I strive to ensure that the therapy room is a safe space for all. With experience working cross-culturally, I warmly welcome all members of the LGBTQIA+ community and embrace various relationship constellations.

I am passionate about helping clients navigate the complexities of parenting and family dynamics, as well as addressing issues related to grief and loss.

What to expect

Whether you come for individual or couple/relationship counselling in the first session, we will spend 90 minutes exploring your unique strengths and challenges, as well as the therapeutic goals you hope to achieve.

There’s no rush, you can share whatever feels comfortable for you. It’s common to feel some anxiety or ambivalence about attending counselling, and together we will address these feelings as they arise.

After the initial session, we will discuss how often to schedule future sessions, which typically last 60 minutes. I will also provide any resources that might be helpful for you to engage more deeply between sessions.

Face-to-face and telehealth sessions are available. Feel free to reach out to me by phone for any advice or to discuss your options further.
